The solutions offered by Energy Design & Consulting covers the entire range of elements involved in the deployment of SCADA & ITC: Dedicated software platforms, intelligent data processing equipment, field instrumentation for data acquisition, diverse and secure communications solutions.

SCADA systems are based on open architecture, redundancy and multiple configuration possibilities. SCADA Solutions develops along with the process and can be changed at any time as needed.

Energy Design & Consulting may develop both the necessary documentation, starting with the design, specifications and so on in order to provide a turnkey implementation of SCADA & ITC.


 

SCADA

EDC has implemented SCADA dispatcher for System Control & Dispatching Company for more than 20 plants of renewable electricity production, photovoltaic and wind, with an installed cumulative capacity of 300MW+ , with the responsibility of implementing related components:

  • dispatch design for System Control & Dispatching Company
  • SCADA System Implementation
  • Communication gateway integration with National Power Control
  • RTU systems integration and maintenance of the photovoltaic Power Plants and wind farms

SCADA system for reactive power compensation and marks of active and reactive power of the wind farm of 10MW at Topliceni and 10MW at Grebanu

EDC has provided and implemented reactive power compensation systems and control of active and reactive power marks in two wind farms with an installed capacity of 10 MW by implementing the following elements:

  • Designing compensation system and SCADA system
  • Delivery and implementation of equipment and SCADA system
  • System integration with SCADA at System Control & Dispatching Company and Nordex turbine control
  • Integration and maintenance of RTU systems for wind power plant
    • SCADA system for monitoring, control and development of active and reactive power marks for 6.4MW photovoltaic power plant at Ghelari

      EDC has suplied and implemented the monitoring systems for orientation of photovoltaic panels, monitoring and control systems for inverters and transformer substations, reactive power compensation systems and control of active and reactive power marks by implementing the following elements:

      Communication system for dispatch at System Control & Dispatching Company connecting photovoltaic and wind power plants and National Energetic Dispatch.

      EDC has implemented communications and IP security system for the wind power plants of 10 MW at Topliceni and Grebanu with 110kV / 20kV station at Costieni and System Control & Dispatching Company, having the responsibility for implementing these components:

      • Design of communications system having 6 knots in optical fiber ring
      • System delivery and implementation by using MOXA equipments
      • Implementation of the communication gateway with ModbusTCP industrial protocols, IEC 104, IEC 101 and IEC61850
      • VPN implementation for power plants and dispatcher station Costieni
      • Integration and maintenance of communications systems within wind power plants

      Communications system for 6.4 MW photovoltaic plant at Ghelari (Corvin Fotovoltaic) with 110kV / 20kV station at Teliuc and System Control & Dispatching Company

      EDC has implemented IP communication and security system between 6.4 MW photovoltaic plant at Ghelari (Corvin Fotovoltaic) and the 110kV / 20kV station at Teliuc and DLC, having the responsibility of implementing these components:

      • Design of communications system having 8 nodes in optical fiber ring
      • System delivery and implementation by using MOXA equipments
      • Implementation of the communication gateway with ModbusTCP industrial protocols, IEC 104, IEC 101 and IEC61850
      • VPN implementation for power plants and Teliuc station and DLC
